Active participation in the Yonge North York BIA (Business Improvement Area)
In 2020, the Yonge North York BIA (Business Improvement Area) was officially established through the active participation of our Korean Canadian Business Association (KCBA) members who operate businesses in the Yonge Street area. The current leadership, including President Hyunjoo Chae, and other executives are key members of the 12-person executive board of the BIA. As board members, they are committed to representing and advocating for the rights and interests of Korean business owners in the region.
Additionally, the commercial district, densely populated with Korean businesses, was officially named “Yonge North York BIA.” The organization continues to lead various campaigns and initiatives aimed at fostering business prosperity for local merchants.
